I am Samantha Hensler The President of the Waterloo Business Association since the beginning in 2021. I own The Shop Salon in downtown Waterloo. I was born and raised in Waterloo. I love the small town vibe. I’m a wife and a mom of two boys that keep me very busy. I think anyone who has made the decision to better themselves or the community they live in is an outstanding person. If we work together so much can happen!

I have been in Waterloo since 1989. Moved here with my husband and 3 kids. Started working at Waterloo Police Department the following year and stayed there for 30 years. Retired in 2021. Started doing stained glass in 2010 and turned the hobby into a business in 2022.
